I am currently rewriting our productkey generating utility for our software. It was built in Delphi 4, and I am converting it to VB6.
I dont program in Delphi so the process is slow. The actual encrypt function uses 'hash' as the function to encrypt several fields and gives an output like
88-X8-EX-58-FX-AE
from this line
generatedKey:=hash(programlist[combobox1.itemindex],domain.text,netbios.text)
I understand its just encrypting based on an algorithm, but where can I find a definition of it, or better still the VB6 equivalent?
Most other encrypting algorithms dont have the "-"'s.
Any help would be appreciated |
